Mechanical Technician or Mechanical Engineer
Gevasol is a leading company in the field of fluid control systems. We focus on special customer projects which are built to need. For that, we are looking for an experienced mechanical technician or engineer with the joy of creativity and invention for mechanical design projects from the concept stage to serial production.
Profile:
ES technician in mechanics or microtechnology with a few years of experience. Engineer (male or female, Bachelor HES) in mechanics or microtechnology with little or no experience.
Practical and methodical person interested in a variety of tasks:
Prototype and machine assembly.
Mechanical and electrical testing.
Participate in product design (technical drawing).
Contact with customers, suppliers and production.
We are looking for a proactive, willing and motivated team player who likes to discover and learn the particularities of our range of activities.
Knowledge of fluidics, pneumatics and automation would be a plus. Just like being able to use the usual machines of a mechanical workshop (milling machine, drill, lathe). Notions of electricity and electrical wiring would also be appreciated.
Computer science:
Formal knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks a plus).
LabVIEW programming and/or numerical simulation is a plus
Job description:
Support the development team of an international family business active in fluid management in a healthy and friendly environment.
Tasks:
Assist engineers in the development of new products and tooling.
Create Drawing.
Modification of existing product.
Jig Development.
Component Search.
Supplier and customer contact.
Prototyping:
Prototype assembly.
Installation of jigs and machines.
Electrical wiring.
Prototype test, pneumatic and electrical test.
Small mechanical touch-up jobs (turning, milling, drilling, 3D printing).
Languages:
Fluent in French and good knowledge in English (speaking and writing).
