Hope is a new addition to Gevasol’s Motion Division – an offshoot of Bental located in Gevasol Technologies.
Hope’s director, Peter van Emmerik, writes:
“We established Hope in response to the soaring demand for our Motion Control Division motors; it necessitated a shift from 100 units per year to 100 per week.
Hope is modelled after our manufacturing facility in the Netherlands, which adjusts its production line for people with barriers to the workforce. We integrated Holland’s principles to streamline operations. For example, all components are laid out on the table in our production process, ensuring nothing is misplaced.
Every day is akin to managing a train with carriages. Each table must meet its quota to maintain momentum, resulting in 100 weekly or 4,000 monthly units, thus meeting the market demand.
The name ‘Hope’ encapsulates our mission. It expresses our wish to spread the transformative power of positivity, unity, and collective effort. Hope is embedded in our operations, such as our focus on environmental care. We strive to minimize waste, exploring reusable packaging options and emphasizing responsible practices throughout our production chain.
As we evolve, our core lies in cultivating a collaborative culture where everyone feels their contribution is meaningful—promoting collective success and fostering hope within our community.”
