Tu Bi’shvat is the New Year of the trees, according to the Jewish tradition. In modern times it is celebrated by planting trees, eating dried fruit, drinking wine, and reading a Tu Bi’shvat “Haggadah.”
At Gevasol Israel, we usually celebrate it with a festive gathering. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we replaced the party with a DIY home planting kit for all Gevasol employees in Israel.
Volunteers from Gevasol’s companies and leadership gathered at Idan Technology to create and assemble 400 planter kits. We also added a bottle of wine, dried fruit, and a Tu Bi’shvat “Haggadah.” The results are in the photos below.
