Hapoel Gilboa-Galil is an Israeli Premier League team affiliated with the Gilboa Galil basketball club.
We go well Beyond Standard to ensure the well-being of our players, including comprehensive restorative and rehabilitation services.
We use the power of professional basketball to break down barriers between groups of people.
Through community engagement, we discover that we’re all the same.
Through art, we re-examine the categories and labels that divide us.
At the basketball arena, we are one community of many differences.
The Gilboa-Galil players engage with people with severe challenges.
Together they work on projects and celebrate life events.
The community members receive free seasonal tickets and attend all the home games.
We use art to examine our stigmas; one notable project is 46:47 – a photography exhibition that brings together the Gilboa-Galil & Special Olympics teams.
